Jamaica has now updated the operationalisation plan for its 2050 Long-Term Strategy (LTS). 🇯🇲 At Climate Lead Group, it was a pleasure to collaborate with the Climate Change Branch of Jamaica's Ministry of Water, Environment and Climate Change and the 2050 Pathways Platform to update the plan. CLG conducted the technical analysis and drafted the document. The plan prioritises LTS actions based on their mitigation potential, co-benefits, and readiness, while mapping the dependencies between sectors. Congratulations to Jamaica on this important step forward! 👏
View post →Costa Rica's energy sector is experiencing major opportunities and challenges: the modernisation of the electricity system, evolving tariffs, and growing demand are opening strategic decisions for industry. At CLG we bring companies the experience built with governments and multilateral banks in over 15 countries: process decarbonisation, electric mobility, renewable energy integration, and economic assessment of investments under uncertainty. Angélica Madrigal Brenes and Javier Monge Matamoros represented Climate Lead Group at the Energy Congress of Costa Rica's Chamber of Industries. 🤝
