Preparation of the Call for Proposals, Evaluation, and Selection of Local Climate Change Adaptation Projects

In this context, Climate Lead Group (CLG) supported the preparation and implementation of a competitive call for proposals to identify and select local climate adaptation actions eligible for financing and technical support under the programme. The project aimed to ensure a transparent, structured, and results-oriented selection process that prioritized high-impact, locally driven adaptation initiatives. The work included the identification of adaptation needs in the territory, the definition of clear evaluation criteria and guidelines for the selection of adaptation projects, the launch and national dissemination of the call for proposals, and the technical evaluation of submitted initiatives to support informed decision-making. Through this process, the project strengthened the identification and prioritization of viable local adaptation actions, contributing to the effective allocation of resources and the successful implementation of climate adaptation measures at the local level.
