Development of a Baseline and Pre-feasibility Studies for Low Emission Development Mitigation Options in Agriculture Projects in Grenada
Project description
This consultancy aimed to develop one baseline study and two pre-feasibility studies for mitigation and resilience projects in Grenada's agriculture sector. The work consisted of consolidating evidence and consulting key stakeholders to build a robust baseline (institutional, legal, financial, technical, and environmental-social); prioritizing a shortlist of project ideas using the Green Climate Fund (GCF)'s investment criteria and feasibility checks; and translating two selected ideas into investment-ready pre-feasibility packages, including technical analysis, environmental and social risk screening, a gender and social inclusion lens, and an economic-financial model. The results strengthened Grenada's capacity to transition toward low-emission, climate-resilient agriculture.
